You know, all I really want when I call to make an appointment is for someone to call me back -- THE SAME DAY.

I called my (for now) favorite spa to make an appointment. I got their answering service. (I understand -- the receptionist has to take a break some time) and left a message. Three hours later, they are closed, and nobody has called me back.

I have three pre-paid massages left at this place. I am seriously thinking of shopping for a new spa.

I wish I could talk about my job. I don't think anybody I work with knows about this blog, but I just cannot take any chances.

All I can say is -- every day at work, I am thisclosetotears. All day long. My work gets done, but I am not happy. Nope, not at all.

I think I should rename this "The Bitch Blog" because starting today, I am going to use this space to COMPLAIN.

Bitch of the day: It's raining, couple takes their 2.5 yr old to Target to "run off steam." No other reason, no money to shop, but specifically to allow their child to run around. Oh, they say, we are watching her, and she is polite; she knows to say "excuse me."

Well, trust me, saying "excuse me" to someone who has just fallen and broken a hip because a 2.5 year old has just taken them out at the knees is not really sufficient. (No, this didn't happen, but in my neighborhood Target it is a very real possibility.)

It's your damn kid, figure out how to run off the steam at home!

I love nature. There is this plant in my backyard; it has been there at least 10 years. Pretty cool, prickly desert plant. Never really changed; just more and more 'baby' plants.

eh -- cruising is over-rated as far as I am concerned. Around day 5 (of a 7-day cruise) I was ready to be home. Nothing bad happened, no particular reason, I was just done. At day 6, sea-sickness set in and I REALLY wanted to be home!
